Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Flip Ledger ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Flip Ledger is a personal profit-tracking tool for Torn.com item flipping. It is a non-commercial, community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Torn.com.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 API key usage. You must be the rightful owner of the Torn account associated with the API key you provide, and you must use only your own key. Do not provide another person's key or use the Service to access another person's data. Your trade data is stored only in your own browser (and, if you choose to connect it, your own Google Drive) - it never reaches our servers. Your API key is sent to our server once, at login, only to verify it with Torn and confirm your identity; it is never stored, logged, or sent again after that. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure.
3.2 Trial & Premium. New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full feature access, limited to syncing data from the last 30 days. Continued access after the trial (Premium) is granted by sending Xanax to Deagonz [3857113] and including the exact note FLIP (case-insensitive) in the gift message. Payment detection uses only the owner's separate server-held API key to read the owner's own Torn log entries; it does not read your log with that key.
Free tier (expired trial/no payment): syncing only pulls data from the last 7 days, and only Market & Bazaar channels are tracked. Google Drive, export/backup, Weav3r, buy-mug discounts, Packs, Bunker, Abroad, NPC, and Auction House are unavailable.
Trial (14 days): full features but syncing limited to last 30 days.
Premium: unlimited history, all channels, all features.
Pricing and the exact mechanism may change; unused time is not refundable except at the owner's discretion. The owner may grant, extend, or revoke access manually at any time, including for support or abuse prevention.
3.2.1 Referrals. You may invite other players using a referral link. Referral attribution is recorded once when the invited player logs in through that link. The inviter receives 7 Premium days only after the invited player's first qualifying Premium payment is detected in the owner's Torn log. Referral rewards may be denied or revoked for abuse, self-referrals, or blocked accounts.
3.3 Prohibited activities. You agree not to impersonate another user, use API keys that do not belong to you, abuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to reverse engineer the Service, or use it in violation of Torn's own rules.
4. Data & Privacy
Your log history and computed profit data live only in your own browser's local storage. If you connect Google Drive, a backup is written only to a hidden folder in your own Drive account that we cannot see or access. Our server stores only the small license ledger and referral attribution/reward records needed to operate those features - not your trade data. The API key you enter for your own account is sent to our server once, at login, only to verify it with Torn; it is discarded immediately afterward and never stored, logged, or shared. The owner's separate server configuration may contain an owner API key used only for payment detection.
5. Service Availability and Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any losses, missed trades, inaccurate profit or ledger data, API outages, or indirect damages arising from use of the Service, including missed, delayed, or incorrectly applied Premium payments.
7. Termination
We may suspend or block access for violation of these terms, including abuse or prohibited activity. You may stop using the Service, and clear your local data, at any time.
8. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Torn API Key Disclosure
As required by Torn's API rules, here is exactly what happens to the API key you provide when logging in:
